A vulnerability was discovered in an air transport security system that allowed unauthorized individuals to bypass airport security screenings and gain access to aircraft cockpits. This vulnerability affects the Known Crewmember (KCM) and Cockpit Access Security System (CASS) programs, which are used by pilots, flight attendants, and other airline employees to bypass traditional airport security checks and access cockpit jumpseats.
