Abstract

This report examines the "human factor" in cybersecurity, noting that 71% of working adults admit to taking risky security actions, often prioritizing convenience over security. Based on a survey of 7,500 users and 1,050 security professionals across 15 countries, alongside Proofpoint's threat data and 183 million simulated phishing messages, the report analyzes security attitudes, emerging threat landscapes, and organizational resilience.
