NetamLoader is an undocumented .NET assembly-loading framework deployed in a multi-stage infection chain targeting custom Windows 10 builds used exclusively by government organizations in Asia. The campaign abuses legitimate Microsoft software components to execute malicious .NET assemblies and DLLs, bypassing endpoint security through trusted-component misuse. Kaspersky GReAT attributed the activity to an undisclosed APT deploying second-stage downloaders and payloads via C2 infrastructure. Persistence is established on hardened government OS images, enabling potential data exfiltration from sensitive networks.
